Anahita Izadiparsa – Cellist and Film Composer

Anahita Izadi Parsa began her musical education at the age of six by completing the Orff program at Pars Music School. She subsequently studied guitar for five years before focusing on the cello at the age of ten, upon entering the Girls’ Conservatory of Music in Tehran under the guidance of Dr. Davood Jafari Omid. She continued her cello studies with esteemed instructors such as Aydin Ahmadinejad, Majid Esmaeili, and Zhabiz Zarbakhsh.

A graduate of the Girls’ Conservatory of Music, Anahita has collaborated with several prestigious orchestras, including:
• Rasa Orchestra under the baton of Ramyar Behzadi (awarded second place at the Fajr Music Festival)
• Iranian Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Arash Goran
• National Orchestra of Iran conducted by Bardia Kiaras
• Tehran Symphony Orchestra under the leadership of Nader Mortezapour, Ali Rahbari, Alexander Rudin, Nasir Heydari, and others

Achievements and Performances:
• Third prize winner at the 8th Young Musicians Competition Festival
• Performance at the 15th Iranian Cinema House Celebration
• Album recordings including:
