Behdad Najafi Asadollahi

Born 2nd May 1971
Art is my lifestyle.
Painter & Contemporary artist, also manager of Rgadid Art Gallery one the most prestigious art
galleries in Iran. My mother is Mansoureh Hadjibaba Tabrizi founder and manager of Tabrizi
ethnography Museum in Nowshahr-Iran and my father late Mohammad Mehdi Najafi Asadollahi
founder and manager of Iran Screen the first and largest silk screen printing house in Iran. Painting,
studying, watching, listening, experiencing and …and in one phrase, constant everyday self
improvement is what my life style is based on.

Artistic activities and
exhibitions:

  • Director at Ragadid Art Gallery, one of the most prestigious art galleries in Iran. Since 2021
  • Managing Director of Khanesh e Moaser art Inst. Since 2021
  • Executive manager of Tabrizi Ethnography Museum (my mother’s museum)
  • Manager of Diane Boutique Art Gallery 2023 & 2024.
  • Member of ICOM since 2022.

Artistic Education:

  1. Learning painting since childhood in his mother’s studio and in the workshops of the Museum of
    Ethnography.
  2. Completed academic drawing course at Art and Architecture Research Institute.
  3. Studying Drawing and Painting in University of Art.
  4. Short-term sculpture course at Kamal Al-Mulk Conservatory
  5. Member of Visual Arts Development Institute of Iran.
  6. Professional painting activity by establishing a personal studio since the year 2000

 

Recent outstanding Activities:

  1. Honored as the outstanding artistic director receiving commendation in 17th Fajr National Visual
    Art Festival, provincial sector, Tehran Province (2025).
  2. Art director of 17th, Fajr National Visual Art Festival, provincial sector, Tehran Province (2025).
  3. Art director of 16th, Fajr National Visual Art Festival, provincial sector, Tehran Province (2024).
  4. Member of the policy making committee of first annual fine art photography exhibition in Laleh
    Gallery (2024).
  5. Member of the policy making committee of hand print exhibition in Laleh Gallery (2024).
  6. Jury Member and member of policy making committee of 5 International Photography festival in
    commemoration of Abbass Kiarostami.

More than 50 Solo & Group Painting Exhibition (International, National and local) in the last 5 Years.
Publications:
Many articles on local and International media and …my book on Art Management and Marketing is
almost ready to be printed in more than 400 pages.
